Schema Therapy

Schema therapy is an integrative psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on exploring and transforming long-standing, recurring emotional and behavioural patterns. These patterns develop during childhood and continue to influence the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us in adulthood.

Schema therapy may be beneficial if you:

  • experience recurring difficulties in romantic relationships or interpersonal connections;
  • struggle with low self-esteem or persistent self-criticism;
  • find it difficult to express your own needs and tend to excessively adapt to others;
  • experience strong pressure to meet expectations, perfectionism, or fear of failure that affects your everyday life;
  • find emotional regulation challenging, or frequently experience anxiety, loneliness, or feelings of rejection;
  • notice that similar difficulties repeatedly appear in certain situations throughout your life.

Individual Sexual Therapy

Sexuality is a natural and essential part of human life, shaped by a wide range of factors, including self-esteem, past experiences, emotional connection, and the way we relate to our own needs, desires, and boundaries. Difficulties related to sexuality are often not limited to the sexual sphere itself; they can also affect self-image, intimacy, relationships, and the ability to connect with ourselves and others.

Individual consultation may be beneficial if you:

  • experience anxiety, uncertainty, shame, or tension in sexual situations;
  • find it difficult to experience sexual desire, or notice a lack of or fluctuation in desire;
  • encounter recurring difficulties in relationships, intimacy, or emotional connection;
  • feel that experiences or thoughts related to sexuality negatively affect your self-esteem or self-image;
  • find it challenging to recognise, express, or communicate your own needs, boundaries, and desires;
  • would like to process past experiences, emotional injuries, or traumatic events that influence your relationship with yourself, your body, sexuality, or intimacy.

Sexual Therapy For Couples

Couples consultation provides a safe, confidential, and accepting professional space where partners can openly explore questions, challenges, and difficulties related to intimacy, sexuality, and emotional connection within their relationship.

Couples consultation may be beneficial if you:

  • experience differences in sexual needs, preferences, or levels of desire;
  • notice a decrease in intimacy, emotional closeness, or physical connection in the relationship;
  • experience recurring tension, conflicts, or difficulties related to sexuality;
  • associate sexual experiences with anxiety, pressure, tension, or avoidance;
  • find it difficult to communicate openly and safely about sexuality, needs, or boundaries;
  • feel that emotional distance has developed in the relationship and would like to address it consciously with professional support.
